I painted a series of gouache studies in the Bermagui State Forest. I painted all day in the rain most of the works got washed away. But it did eventually stop, and the next couple of days I was able to sit with the spotted gums, dirt, leaf litter, sky, and play enjoying with a new curiosity the shapes, colours and compositions that emerged.
