This image details people and aspects of a housing estate.  Drug and alcohol issues, mental health, domestic violence, crime, poverty and homelessness exists in and around such areas.

The idea was to experience the presence of Aboriginal poverty and sadness through an intimate portrait of this special suburb.

In my works, I try to hint at but not reveal human drama and psychological tension. I try to capture the everyday terrors, guilts, hopes, doubts, dreams, and tears that fill every human heart. I look at the relationships we all experience that succeed or fail, how we struggle to make them work and how culture shapes these relationships even when we don’t realise it. ­­
