Jenny Tubby is a multi-disciplinary artist based in the Illawarra. Jenny graduated with a Bachelor of Creative Arts, from Wollongong University in 2010.
Her creative practice spans across various mediums, including painting, drawing, video performance, animation and installation. Jenny has an interest in staging fictional narratives, deploying humour and absurdity, while drawing inspiration from the abundance of objects we produce and discard. Working predominantly with found and recycled materials Jenny creates kinetic dioramas and installations that are used as reference for her paintings and drawings.
Throughout her career, Jenny has featured in numerous group exhibitions, solo shows and art prizes. Jenny has been a resident artist at Wollongong Art Gallery, Redgate residency in Beijing and Nes residency in Skagastrond, Iceland.
