Acrylic plate on platic tray
This work started with a trip to the op shop where I bought a plastic tray. I thought I would use it for rolling out ink for linocuts but it grew on me a little. I started to look at the plate and the fruit and the portrait just came to me, whilst I was wondering who had made the original mould for the plate. Maybe it is a rip off of an original china tray. Then the colours for the fruit came and these colours ran into the portrait.
