Jacqui Driver is a print-based installation artist living and working on Gadigal land. Driver’s practice includes large format lithographs and silk drapes which form the basis for her installations, along with her audio-visual work. She has had 5 solo
shows over the last few years the most recent Embodiment at Redbase Art Gallery in Chippendale and The Mothering Enclosure at ADspace, UNSW. Driver was invited to give an artist talk at the Aotearoa Art Fair in Auckland, New Zealand 2023 and has been a participant in various art prizes, including The Waverley Art Prize 2022, Hazlehurst Works on Paper 2022, and Burnie Print Prize 2023. She has worked in Sydney as a sessional printmaking academic for over thirty years, having taught at UNSW, NAS, UTS, ANU and currently works at ACU, Strathfield Campus. Driver has run numerous independent lithography workshops and is well known for her experimental printmaking knowledge and skills with stone lithography. She was represented by Redbase Art Gallery, Sydney and included in their studio show at the Aotearoa Art Fair, 2023 in Auckland, New Zealand and will be part of their stable of artists represented at the Sydney Contemporary Art Fair, in September, 2023.
