Bunnings sells everything – the totality of what can be bought. However, there is an ever-increasing variety of items available. For Bunnings begins and ends with itself; it expands but never contracts – infinite growth, infinite possibility, under the vast canopy of skylights day and night vanish. Although predictions vary in accuracy, one thing is guaranteed: a return trip. Something is always forgotten, left off the list, to be collected next time when: 1. you remember, 2. you have to return for something else, or 3. when you’re passing by. But even then, it is inevitable that something will be lost to memory and continue the cycle forever. What will future Bunnings look like? With all the building materials for the homes of tomorrow, the eco-housing boom of the beyond…we will buy our metal detectors with Ethereum to go sifting through the space dust.
