“From this window, like the moon, I keep sending news secretly” is a poignant painting created in memory of my childhood friend who tragically and suddenly passed away last year from pancreatic cancer at a young age. The title, drawn from a Rumi poem, evokes the enduring connection between souls separated by distance or loss. The layering of translucent veils of paint reflects the passage of time and the layers of memory.
