‘Duality of Lust’ exists in the space between recognition and ambiguity, where the human figure emerges through gestural distortion and subconscious construction. Using expressionist techniques, I allowed form to develop intuitively, favouring process over predetermined concept. The contorted figures in this work reflect a paradox of existence—at once isolated yet whole, suspended in tension between movement and stillness. This paradox is focused on the theme of Lust, a universal human desire that requires non judgemental reflection during one’s life.
