In my contemporary art practice, I traverse the landscape of neurological malfunctions. The intertwining fibres in my work symbolise the interconnectedness of neural pathways, illustrating the threads that weave the tapestry of our thoughts and emotions, ultimately forming the intricate knots of existence. By encapsulating ‘Altered Neurotransmissions’ within a Perspex box, I aim to convey the inherent confinement of individual neurological functions within each of us. This choice highlights how light and perspective can alter our perception of the artwork, mirroring how external influences shape our thoughts and behaviours.
