The 9×5 Landscape Prize is back for its 7th year and we can not wait to open for entries on Monday 8 August!
This prize has become a firm favourite on the WWAS calendar with entry numbers increasing each year. The challenge of painting a landscape at a small scale is a unique challenge and evidently very addictive as we enjoy an extremely high number of entries from artists returning each year.
For those new to the prize, inspiration was drawn from the small works by Australian Impressionists such as Streeton, Roberts, Conder and McCubbin. The entry process is in two parts. Firstly you will need to enter via the 9×5 Landscape Prize page so that we can send you an official 9×5 board and then, once the painting is complete, you will need to submit a jpeg of the painting to be judged online. All finalists will then exhibit their work at WWAS for the final judging process.
