Throughout my adult working life I’ve been involved in many creative fields. I have a studio practice of mainly Painting, Drawing & Sculptural assemblage. I’ve exhibited in many group shows & fund raisers. I tutor both adults and children in much the same way…. teaching fundamental skills of observation & structure as a starting point, so one can explore their individual creative strengths, sensibilities and expression with confidence, excitement & passion.

Painting & Drawing, learned, used & abandoned at will, moves one toward the process of discovery. Allowing an exploration of skill & material use. Allowing one’s self to fail and try again … trusting the intuition, emotion & thought (conscious & subconscious)… the evolution of learning.  The end point is the by-product of the process.

Philippa is currently studying a Master in Fine Arts at National Art School and  completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting) in 2007.
