Ester Sarkadi-Clarke has been involved in making art and learning about art all her life. At University she obtained a combined Bachelor of Art Theory/Bachelor of Arts at UNSW& COFA (now UNSW Art & Design); a Graduate Diploma in Professional Studies in Education (Primary), University of Sydney; and recently a Master of Art Administration, UNSW Art & Design, 2016. Her University Internship at the Australian National Maritime Museum included working on a Ghost Net project and facilitating children’s educational programs and art making related to ghost nets (using recycled materials to create art).
She has many years experience of working in after-school settings doing art activities with Primary school children, and also with WWAS school holiday programs. She believes all children have a natural creative capacity! She has a strong interest in all areas of Art Theory and all areas of Art and Crafts, especially in ceramics and mixed media art.
Ester also enjoys the natural environment, doing photography, music, travel and going to art exhibitions.
