Zoe Sernack is a Sydney based artist whose practice explores the emotional and sensory relationship between landscape, memory and place. Zoe holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The National Art School, has exhibited throughout Australia for over 28 years and a been a finalist in many highly regarded art awards.

‘The Land Beneath the Sky’ explores the quiet dialogue between earth and atmosphere through layered mark making and a rhythmic pattern. Vertical forms suggest trees standing as gentle sentinels, holding space between grounded earthy tones and an expansive sky. through layered textures, soft earthy and ochre palette, abstracted forms, Sernack creates a sense of stillness, warmth and connection rather than literal representation. Her paintings invite the viewer to pause, and experience landscape as a feeling- a meeting point between earth and calm. Zoe’s work is guided by intuition and deep respect the Australian environment.
