Technical Difficulties 2 explores disruption to neural networks and the similarities between technological and neurological malfunctions. The abstract composition has been developed through various chance processes; using a random-number generator I extracted certain squares, referencing the fragmentation caused by corrupted digital files. I am interested in the relationships of colour and texture, the vitality of brightly coloured natural fibres vibrating with fluorescent threads is reminiscent of a technological glitch; while the unexpected and somewhat chaotic elements of reflective fabric and faux fur further acknowledge the disruption. The slow stitching process in a sense reorders the disorder of disrupted digital files.
