The centre of my work is the representation of my immediate world. Our six acres of virgin bushland a constant sauce of inspiration. Since the devastation of losing everything in the 2019 bushfires, I have been preoccupied with the growing effects of climate change, the regrowth of the natural bushland, and the return of native flora and fauna. It is this observed world that I recreate metaphorically with an abstract expressionist approach.
