Flesh Boundaries continues my investigation into the body as a site negotiated between intimacy, scrutiny, and control. Rendered through soft, unstable forms, the figure resists clear definition, blurring the line between being embodied and being seen. Drawing on experiences of the body under medical, erotic, and social observation, the work aims to disrupt the viewer’s gaze, withholding the body from easy consumption and instead inviting a slower, more uncertain encounter with flesh, vulnerability, and agency.
