AMSTYO20 is a work which builds upon previous themes of the fallibility of memory and the unreliability of locational recognition through the passage of time. Incorporating contemporary artificial intelligence techniques, the work seeks to reflect the intermixture of memories and feelings associated with travelling abroad through the architecture of an image somewhat beyond the realm of present reality. The texture of a static TV is subtly replicated to contribute to feelings of nostalgia felt in response to international expeditions.
