Drawing into Collage into relief with Linda Bowden
Drawing into Collage:
Suitable for both beginners through to more advanced students this workshop takes its inspiration from the built environment. Beginning with photos, images and drawings en plein air we will use collage, cardboard and card to transform a 2D drawing into a 3D low relief. This workshop is suitable for both drawers and painters extending the traditional disciplines into the 3rd dimension to increase knowledge of methods to suggest volume, space and depth in their work. A variety of drawing materials will be used including pencil, charcoal, white oil pastel and white chalk pastel and gouache.
Linda Bowden has been teaching sculpture and drawing to both children and adults since graduating from NAS in 1999.
